Resting Limits and Capacities
Resting capacity
Find your resting storage tile just below the Subscription tile. It can display three different states:
Resting is disabled

Want to enable resting? Contact our support team to get started.
Resting is enabled in pay-as-you-go mode

With this model, your resource pool is charged daily in credits based on your resting storage footprint.
Resting is included in your subscription

At renewal time, you can prepay for resting capacity. Storage below your limit is free, but overage is charged daily in credits.
Tracking your consumption
The resting capacity tile shows your total resting storage footprint across all spaces in this resource pool. This metric updates daily:
Increases: When spaces are put to rest
Decreases: When you wake up spaces (data moves back to the Nuvolos file system)
Want more details? Resource pool managers can click the Details button at the bottom right to see usage trends over time. This opens the Plan Utilization tab with the date range preset to match your current file system limit period.
Resting limits
Resting limits help you manage the cost of resting storage in your resource pool. You can choose between pure pay-as-you-go or prepaying for a set amount.
What defines a resting limit:
Resting limit (capacity): The storage amount allocated for your subscription period (pay-as-you-go users see their actual footprint instead)
Resting Limit Term Start: When your limit becomes active (your contract start or renewal date)
Resting Limit Term End: When your limit expires (your subscription period end date)
What happens when you exceed your resting capacity
Once you exceed your prepaid resting limit, daily credit deductions begin automatically—just like pay-as-you-go mode. Each day, we charge for storage above your limit. Check the prices page for current resting storage rates.

How to avoid overage charges: Delete old spaces you no longer need.
