I can't create a space

If you are unable to create a new space, consider the following possible causes.

  • The space name is already taken.

Space names must be unique within an organisation. A space with the same name may already exist even if it is not visible to you because it is private. Use a different name to continue.

  • You don't have the right permission to create a space.

To create a space in an organisation, you must be an organisation manager or faculty member. If you do not hold one of these roles, contact an organisation manager to request the appropriate access or ask them to create the space on your behalf.

  • You followed the wrong steps for creating a space.

Ensure that you are following the correct procedure for creating a space. For more information, see the relevant documentation.

  • You have lost connection to the internet.

If your internet connection is interrupted, the request to retrieve space data may fail. Restore the connection and refresh the page.

  • There has been a server-side error and the space creation request was not properly processed by Nuvolos.

In some cases, a server-side error may prevent the space creation. Wait a few minutes, refresh the page, and try again.
