I can't delete an instance

If you are unable to delete an instance, consider the following possible causes.

  • You do not have permission to delete the instance.

In order to delete an instance, the user must have a space administrator role. If you don't have the necessary role to delete an instance, you can contact the space administrator to delete the instance on your behalf or grant you the space administrator role.

  • You are viewing the Master or Distributed instance.

Master and Distributed are primary instances that must exist in every space and therefore cannot be deleted.

  • You have lost connection to the internet.

If your internet connection is interrupted, the server may not receive your request to delete the instance. Once your connection is restored, refresh the page and try again.

  • There has been a server-side error and the instance deletion request was not properly processed by Nuvolos.

In rare cases, a server-side error may prevent the deletion request from being processed correctly. Wait a few moments, then try deleting the instance again.
