I can't invite users to an instance

If you are unable to invite users to an instance, consider the following possible causes.

  • You don't have the right permission to invite instance users.

To invite users to an instance, you must be a space administrator for the space that contains the instance. You can either ask a space administrator to send the invitation or grant you a space administrator role.

  • You are looking in the wrong place.

Ensure that you are following the correct procedure for inviting users to an instance. For more information, see the relevant documentation.

  • One or more of the provided emails is invalid.

Ensure that the email address entered for each invited user is correct.

  • You are inviting users to a deleted instance.

The instance may no longer exist because it was deleted by a space administrator.

  • You have lost connection to the internet.

If your internet connection is interrupted, the server may not receive your invitation request, and the invitations may not be sent. Once your connection is restored, refresh the page and try inviting the users again.

  • There has been a server-side error and the invitation request was not properly served by Nuvolos.

In rare cases, a server-side error may prevent the invitation request from being processed correctly, which can stop you from inviting instance users. Wait a few minutes, refresh the page, and then try again.
