I can't see a snapshot

If you are unable to find a specific snapshot in Nuvolos, consider the following possible causes.

  • The snapshot is not shown in the current filtered view.

If you are viewing the full list of snapshots, then ensure that the filter corresponding to the snapshot type is selected. Snapshot types may include auto-backup, quick, and detailed snapshots.

  • You don't have the right permission to view the snapshot

To view snapshots, you need to be an instance editor or viewer. If you don't have any of these roles, contact the space administrator and ask them to grant you the required access.

  • The snapshot does not exist anymore because it was deleted.

A snapshot may no longer appear if it was deleted by a space admin or an instance editor.

  • You have lost connection to the internet.

If your internet connection is interrupted, the request to retrieve data may fail, and the browser may not receive the list of snapshots from the server. Once your connection is restored, refresh the page.

  • There has been a server-side error and the list of snapshots was not properly served by Nuvolos.

In rare cases, a server-side error may prevent snapshot data from being returned correctly. Wait a few minutes, refresh the page, and then check again.
