I can't delete an application

If you are unable to delete an application in Nuvolos, consider the following possible causes.

  • You don't have the right permission to delete an application.

To delete an application in an instance, you must be the editor of that instance. Instance viewers cannot delete applications. If you do not have permission to delete the application, contact an instance editor to request that the application be deleted.

  • The application is running.

Only stopped applications can be deleted. Before attempting deletion, verify that the application is no longer running.

  • Another selected application is already being deleted.

When one or more of the applications you have selected are currently in the process of being deleted (shown with a "Deleting" status), most actions are temporarily disabled. Unselect the deleting application to enable the full range of actions.

  • Give it some time.

Deleting an application may take several seconds. Wait briefly for the operation to complete.

  • You are looking in the wrong place.

To delete an application, you must be in the CURRENT STATE of an instance for which you are the editor.

  • The application you want to delete does not exist anymore because it has already been deleted.

The application no longer exists because it has already been deleted.

  • You have lost connection to the internet.

If your internet connection is interrupted, the deletion request may not reach the server. Restore the connection, refresh the page, and try again.

  • There has been a server-side error and the application deletion request was not properly processed by Nuvolos.

n some cases, a server-side error may prevent the deletion request from being processed correctly. Wait a few minutes, refresh the page, and then try again.
