I can't see an application

If you are unable to find a specific application in Nuvolos, consider the following possible causes.

  • The application is not included in the default list view.

By default, the applications table displays only ten items per page. If the application is not shown, increase the number of rows per page using the control at the bottom of the table, or navigate to the next page using the right arrow.

  • You may be looking in the wrong location.

  • You don't have the right permission to view the application.

To view an application, you must be either an instance editor or an instance viewer. Instance viewers cannot see applications in the CURRENT STATE; they can view only applications contained in a snapshot. If you do not have permission to view snapshots for the instance, ask an instance editor to grant you the appropriate access.

  • The application does not exist any more because it was deleted.

An application may no longer be visible if it was deleted by an instance editor or if the snapshot containing it was deleted.

  • You have lost connection to the internet.

If your internet connection is interrupted, the request to retrieve application data may fail and the browser may not receive the application list from the server. Restore the connection and refresh the page.

  • There has been a server-side error and the list of applications was not properly served by Nuvolos.

In some cases, it might happen that a server-side error occurs such that the application data is not served properly. Wait for a few minutes, refresh the page and then check again.
