# I can't invite students to my course

Course invitation links expire automatically in order to prevent unintended access to course content. By default, the invitation link expires three months after the space is created. After the link has expired, any attempt to use it will be rejected.

## Refreshing the link

To generate a new invitation link, open the invitation page. If the current link has expired, the invitation link section will display an option to create a new link.
